Pierson Fern & Greens Inc. was started in 1988 by Larry & Phylis Wys as a supplier of fresh cut ferns and flowers to the wholesale floral market. By 1996 they had built a substantial business and decided to retire.

Kevin and Anh Roberts bought the company in 1996. Kevin was a CPA in Jacksonville, Florida and had been the accountant for the company from its beginning. Anh had finished a long career with Prudential Insurance in Jacksonville and was about to suffer "empty nest" syndrome as their two daughters headed off to college.

Anh jumped into running the day to day operations, while Kevin kept the books and dealt with the bank. With support from all of our local growers, we provide product from Florida, California, North Carlina, Washington and Oregon. We also have a excellent selection of tropical leaves and Latin greens. Pierson Fern & Greens has grown every year since 1996 until the recession hit in 2008. Like everyone else, we are slowly coming back.

Pierson Fern & Greens has built a reputation for quality and service these past 15 years by treating each customer as if they were our only customer. We see no reason to change that as we move forward into the future.
